How does Return2Owner work for pets?+−
You register your pet and attach a QR tag or write your unique R2O code on their collar. If your pet goes missing and someone finds them, the finder scans the tag or enters your code at return2owner.club and submits a short form. You instantly receive an email alert with their contact details so you can arrange to collect your pet.
Does my pet still need a microchip?+−
Yes — a microchip is a legal requirement in many countries and a permanent form of ID. R2O is a fast, human-powered layer on top of that: while a microchip relies on a vet or shelter scanning it, an R2O tag lets the person who finds your pet contact you directly within seconds, day or night.
What should I put on the tag?+−
Your R2O QR code and your short ID code are all you need. You can also add 'If found, scan me' to guide finders. There's no need to print your personal phone number — your contact details stay private until you choose to share them.
What if my pet is found while we're abroad?+−
R2O works worldwide on any smartphone with a browser. Whether your pet goes missing at home or on holiday, the finder can reach you the same way — no international calls or language barriers to worry about.
