Is my personal email or phone number exposed to finders?
No. Finders never see your email address or phone number — they only ever see the 'found item' report form. When they submit it, we send their contact details directly to your registered email so you can reach out to them. Your personal details stay private throughout.
Who can see my registered items?
Only you. Your item list is private and only visible when you're logged in to your account. Finders only ever see the 'found item' report form — nothing else.
Tags & Labels
Can I print my own labels, or do I have to buy physical tags?
Both! Once you sign up you can immediately download and print your own QR labels at home — we provide ready-to-print sheets for common label sizes. Physical adhesive tags will also be available in our shop very soon if you'd prefer something more durable.
What's the lock screen wallpaper feature?
Your unique R2O code can be embedded into a custom lock screen wallpaper for your phone. If you lose your phone, anyone who picks it up can scan the QR code on the screen without needing to unlock it — no finder app required.
How It Compares
How does this compare to expensive Bluetooth trackers like AirTags?
AirTags cost £29–£35 each, need batteries, and only work within Bluetooth or Apple's Find My network range. R2O costs from £2/month, needs no batteries, works worldwide on any device (no app required for the finder), and one subscription protects everything you own — not just one item.
What about GPS trackers?
GPS trackers cost £30–£100+ per device, require their own SIM/data subscription, and need charging. R2O is passive — no power, no signal needed. It relies on human honesty and makes it as easy as possible for an honest finder to get your item back to you.
Using R2O
Do finders need to download an app to report a found item?
No app required — ever. Finders simply scan the QR code or visit return2owner.club and enter your code. It works on any smartphone, tablet, or computer with a browser.
What happens after a finder submits a report?
You receive an instant email alert with the finder's name, contact details, and any message they left. You can then arrange collection directly — we just make the introduction.
How many items can I register on one subscription?
Unlimited. One R2O subscription covers every item you own. Register your keys, bags, laptop, passport, bike, pet collar — anything you'd want returned.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your protection continues until the end of your current billing period.
